This is with the aim of achieving MindFreedom Ghana’s long-term objectives of:

a. Retaining existing service users and coverage for mental health information and services to them

b. Positioning itself to provide such quality and person-centered care that clients will make MindFreedom Ghana the preferred choice over its competitors

c. Sustain the operations of the organization

Research

This is with the aim of achieving MindFreedom Ghana’s long-term objectives of:

a. Retaining existing users of evidence and scholarship for mental health;

b. Positioning itself to provide such quality and person-centered care that clients will make MindFreedom Ghana the preferred choice over its competitors

c. Sustain the operations of the organization

Referrals For Mental Health Counselling & Services 

a. Retaining existing service users and coverage for mental health information, counseling, and referral services;

b. Influence service users to switch from choosing mental health information, counseling, and referral services from current competitors to MindFreedom Ghana; and

c. Sustain the operations of the organization

Mental Health Advocacy

This is with the aim of achieving MindFreedom Ghana’s long-term objectives of:

a. Retaining existing clients/service users and providing more services to them;

b. Expanding service-user and donor-base through tailored activities targeted at them and providing person-centered services to clients; Sustain the operations of the organization

Establishing and managing community support networks

This is with the aim of achieving MindFreedom Ghana’s long-term objectives of:

a. Retaining existing clients/service users and expanding their access to mental health and psychosocial services;

b. Positioning itself to provide such quality and person-centered care that clients will make MindFreedom the preferred choice over its competitors Sustain the operations of the organization at the community level of mental health service delivery

WHAT MAKES US SPECIAL

The priorties of the health system

To support development of guidelines to regulate prayer camps in Ghana, for integration into the draft Legislative Instrument which will provide an implementation framework for the new Mental Health Act of 2012.

Our mission

The mission of MindFreedom Ghana is to: foster and strengthen links with analogous minded organizations, both locally and internationally, to harmonize our activities and explore diverse forms of cooperation as well as assistance towards persons with psychosocial disabilities in institutions and their communities..
